On March 19th, Maxphotonics 15th Anniversary Appreciation Meeting and New Product Launch Conference was held in Shanghai. More than 500 people from the Xiangcheng District government department, Shanghai Opto-mechanical Institute, Guangdong Laser Industry Association, as well as optical components and optical module suppliers, laser equipment manufacturers, terminal application vendors, etc. attended the event.
The event included the launching ceremony of new products, the signing ceremony of more than 200 megawatt lasers, the China Industrial Super High Power Laser Development Forum and the ultra high power laser process enhancement fund.
At this conference, Maxphotonics's M5-BOX laser, high-power single-module 4000W, ultra-high-power multi-mode 25000W were released one by one. Among them, the single-module 4000W and multi-mode 25000W products are industrial-grade products produced in small batches. They have passed the testing and certification of the Institute of Optoelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the National Laser Device Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and obtained the certificate of scientific and technological achievements registration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
From 10,000W to 20,000W, domestic laser manufacturers are racing on the development of ultra-high-power fiber lasers, but the industrialized lasers of tens of thousands of watts that can be mass-produced industrially are still basically blank. As the matter of fact, it’s still impractical to use a 25kW fiber laser system for any commercial purpose.
Founded in 2004, Maxphotonics is a domestic manufacturer of fiber lasers and optical components. The company has hundreds of people's R & D team and 236 domestic and foreign patents. Before the introduction of 25000W fiber laser, the company has independent research and development experience in 10,000-watt lasers, and has developed and produced 10000W, 12000W, 15000W fiber lasers.
